AS A CLOSED LOOP SYSTEM.
 THE INPUT IS THE CODE ENTERED
 THE MICROPROCESSOR, IC AND DC MOTOR
CONSTITUTE THE INTERMEDIATE STAGE.
 THE ACTUAL MOVEMENT OF THE GATE IS THE
OUTPUT.
 THE LIMIT SWITCH SERVE AS THE FEEDBACK.
INTRODUCTION

 THE ARDUINO MACHINE LANGUAGE IS
USED AS THE COMPILER LANGUAGE FOR
THE MICROPROCESSOR.
 THE ATMega324P MICROCONTROLLER CAN
SOURCE OR SINK CURRENT UPTO 40mA,
HENCE THE NEED FOR A MOTOR DRIVER.
 OPERATING VOLTAGE OF THE DC MOTOR
MAY BE MUCH HIGHER THAN OPERATING
VOLTAGE OF THE MICROCONTROLLER.

INPUT CODE LOCK INTERFACE WHICH ENABLES
THE CODE INPUT TO BE ENTERED FOR
AUTHORISATION AND ACCESS TO BE GRANTED
TO THE OPERATOR. IT IS INTERCONNECTED TO A
MICROCONTROLLER.
WORKING PRINCIPLE

 THE ATMEGA328P MICROCONTROLLER HELPS TO
INTERPRET THE INPUT DATA BEFORE GIVING
AUTHORISATION TO THE USER .
 SENDS A BINARY SIGNAL IN THE FORM OF HIGH’S
AND LOW’S TO THE INPUT OF THE IC L293 WHICH
DRIVES THE DC STEPPER MOTOR IN ONE
DIRECTION OR THE OTHER EXPLAINING THE
PRINCIPLE OF OPENING AND CLOSING OF THE
GATE.
WORKING PRINCIPLE

 THE LIMIT SWITCH POSITIONED AT TWO
EXTREME POINT ENABLES A FEEDBACK
TO BE SENT THROUGH THE
MICROCONTROLLER TO THE IC L293D
WHICH INTURNS REVERSE THE POLARITY
OF THE DC MOTOR AND THE GATE
RESPOND AFTER A PRESET TIME(IN
SECONDS) BY CLOSING AUTOMATICALLY.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

 THE PROJECT IS OF GOOD VALUE TO
RESIDENTIAL HOUSES AND SMALL OFFICES
MAINLY.
 THE COMPONENT USED IN THE PROJECT MAKES
THE PROJECT TO BE COST-EFFECTIVE AND
EFFICIENT.
 TO COUNTER THE EFFECT OF BACK E.M.F
OUTPUT DIODES ARE INCLUDED WITHIN THE IC.
