The consulting industry consists of companies, and organizations that are operating in HR, IT,
Strategy, Operations Management, and Business Advisory services, independent contractors.
There is an increase in the number of companies that are in requirement of the services of
consulting firms or independent consultants for better services and the strategic planning for
the projects to boost their revenues and competitiveness. IT consulting firms provide solutions
to the management for technical projects, and they provide solutions for testing and writing
custom software. Besides, they provide consulting on issues related to designing integrated
software, hardware, and communications infrastructure and managing the computer systems.
An increasing number of software companies are entering into the consulting industry to meet
the growing demand for the design, implementation, and management of IT-based business
information processes.
The global management consulting services marketplace is anticipated to develop from $902.3
billion in 2019 to $919.3 billion in 2020 at a compound annual increase rate (CAGR) of 1.9%.
The low rate of growth is mainly because of the economic slowdown across countries due to
the COVID-19 outbreak and the measures taken to contain it. The market is expected to recover

2023.The current pandemic has given a new set of challenges for the consulting sector. This

of the Web site, then so increase the usage and visibility of the Web site. The researcher needs

positions in the SERP and enhance their business.

Approach to the problem is first we need to generate a website audit report and fixing the on
page technical errors and do the keyword analysis and perform the competitor analysis and find
out which keywords competitors are using and identify the volume they are getting from that
keywords and try to rank for the high-volume keywords.
c. Rationale:
The reason for conducting this research for improving the ranking of the website in search
engines like google, yahoo, Bing etc. To achieve the ranking in search engines we will do social
bookmarking, directory submissions, article submissions, pdf submissions, blogs, image sharing,
video sharing, business listings, citations, classified ads, creating high quality backlinks. These
are all the of page activities we use to improve the website ranking.

website and identify the technical errors and fix them and check the titles tags, header tags and
meta description with in the website whether they exist or if there are any errors in these tags
and fix those errors and also we should robots.txt and sitemaps are should be there in our
website because these files navigate the crawlers through the website pages and off page
activities include social bookmarking , directory submissions, blog commenting, article
submissions, forum submissions, PDF submissions, image sharing, video sharing, business
listings, citations, building backlinks these are all the ways used in SEO to improve your website
ranking in search engine results pages.

submissions, article submissions, blog commenting, building backlinks etc. Search engine
optimization it is a free process, so it takes time to rank for the keywords we are targeting. We
must monitor our website activity by using google analytics we will keep tracking our website
ranking, traffic coming to our website from different sources where we done some posting
about our company and our website URL and our keywords SEO difficulty ranking it means how
difficult is to gain ranking from those highly competitive keywords and the search volume we
are getting from the keywords.
b. Learning and insights: how relevant for the industry and the client:
There is lot more of digital transformation and mobile device usage is growing rapidly it is
relevant for any industry or any business to start their digital journey by starting with search
engine optimization it involves two activities on page activities these are done with in the
website like title tags, meta description, header tags, URL, website loading speed, mobile
friendly website, keyword analysis, robots.txt file which tells crawlers which page on our
website should be allowed or which content should be disallowed to show our website visitors.
Off page activities include directory submissions, social bookmarking, article submissions, PDF
submissions, classified ads, blog commenting, business listings, citations, backlink building,
video sharing these are the activities which helps to increase in website ranking in search
engine results pages before doing on page and off page SEO activities we have to prepare an
website audit report to identify the technical errors and if there are any titles, header tags are
missing or any broken links which needs to be redirected to another page we will fix those
errors in the website and start our search engine optimization process.

Consulting services industry consists of companies operating in operating in HR, IT, Strategy,
Operations Management and Business advisory services it is slowly growing back industry after
the 2020 pandemic. Search engine optimization is a first step of the digital marketing which will
help the website to improve the ranking in search engine results pages. It depends on how the
activities of on page SEO and off page SEO are performed and all the planning of all the off page
activities like sharing images, blogs, social bookmarking, directory submissions, PDF
submissions and the keyword analysis to understand which keywords we have to use in our
website or in our posts and what is the search volume we are goanna get from that keywords
and the SEO difficulty from that keywords which indicates how hard is to increase your website
ranking by those highly competitive keywords. But it is one of the successful methods to
increase your website ranking without investing any budget, but it takes lot more time to
improve your ranking than paid advertising.
