REPORT: This stolen laptop went dormant for a few months and eventually made a post theft call into
the monitoring servers. The Absolute laptop security software revealed the location as the United Arab
Emirates. With forensic tools deployed the user was identified as an innocent by stander who was using
the laptop. We froze the device and displayed a message to contact Absolute Software to return the
stolen laptop. We received it back in our UK offices and have returned the laptop to its owner.
