3. What are online payments?
An online payment can be simply defined as
the exchange of money online, or the payment for
goods or services over the internet.
This involves processing data from a payment
method chosen by the buyer, usually a credit or debit
card, an e-wallet, or a checking account.
4. What is a Payment processor?
A payment processor is the mediator
between the merchant and the bank involved in the
transaction.
This can be either for online payments
(performed on websites) or for in-person payments
(performed on card swipers).
6. Tezby Google
Google Tez was launched in September 2017, and serves lives of more than
22 Million people and businesses who use it every month. People from over 300,000
suburbs, towns, and villages use it to pay for their electrician, book bus rides, or split a
dinner bill with friends.
To support the development, Google has also partnered with four Indian
banks including HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Federal Bank in
order to offer instant, pre-approved loans to customers through the Google Pay in
seconds.
7. How can you transfer money using Tez
After installing the app, users
have to snyc their wallets with their
Google account, and the mobile
number linked to it. Access to the
wallet from the app drawer is
protected by two-level security; a 4-
digit Google PIN, and the security
settings on the device, such as
passcodes, fingerprints, or pattern
locks.

9. Samsung Pay
It is a mobile payment service by Samsung India Electronics Pvt. Ltd. that allows you to
pay for goods and services simply by waving your Samsung smartphone near a cash register
instead of swiping a credit card or doling out your payment information.
Samsung Pay uses NFC technology to transfer a credit or debit card’s information to
a NFC-enabled payment terminal, just like how an NFC-enabled card would work. But what makes
Samsung Pay so awesome is that it also works with traditional payment terminals and card
machines by using MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission) technology. NFC is still a relatively new
technology, especially in emerging markets like India, which is where MST comes in.
10. Is Samsung Pay Safe.?
Samsung Pay is safer than having a physical card because it doesn’t actually store the
actual card number. Simply put, Samsung Pay stores an encrypted version of the card number that
is sent to payment terminals instead of the actual card number. It’s a virtual number of sorts, so the
original card number is not stored anywhere on your phone.
Samsung Pay also requires you to authenticate yourself on your phone before you can
use it to make a payment. You can use the fingerprint sensor, enter the device PIN, or authenticate
via the iris scanner on devices that have one. So a lot of security for a very convenient way to pay,
making Samsung Pay quite trustworthy.
