Youth theatre report
1. Youth Theatre Report
On Saturday the 6th of March, I had another opportunity to observe two
workshops. They are called Moonbeams and Sunbeams. The two workshops
were different to the ones I observed during the weekday. The kids were
much younger, from the age of 4-7. And also they were mixed gender
compared to the other workshops which were either Girls group or Boys
group. In similarity, the kids have the same energetic attitude towards their
task just like the other older kids.
I observed Sunbeams first. Sunbeams kids and I have a very similar attitude
towards certain things. Back when I was in Year 7 I was so eager to get on
the task that was set to us by our teachers. The kids remind me of how I used
to jump about and scream my ideas if no one would listen to. I enjoyed my
time with the sunbeams.
After 20 minutes break it was time to visit Moonbeams. Moonbeams were
how I can put it; they were the opposite of Sunbeams. They were extremely
enthusiastic but in contrary when it comes to show their little scene, in my
opinion I would say that they were a shy bunch of kids with marvellous
ideas.
Like I said before I enjoyed myself during observing workshop and am
lookin forward to observe more workshops in the next week.
