those with learning difficulties or
mental health problems.

6. Cooperatives
• These are organizations owned,
controlled, and run by its
members.

7. Credit Unions
• These are community-based
financial institutions that provide
savings and loan facilities for its
members.

• It provides loans and other types
of investment to support social
enterprises and other small
businesses.

• It aim to develop a community
through the ownership and
management of property.

• These are independent social

• These are self-sustaining social
enterprises that do not have
grants and are able to cover
operational costs through the
revenue generated by its sales.

• It is operated with an income and
are considered profitable.
