This document provides a summary of events for the 3rd World Festival of Black Arts and Cultures from December 10-31, 2010 in Dakar, Senegal. Over the 3 week period, there will be over 200 events including forums, lectures, performances, films, and exhibitions focusing on literature, visual arts, architecture, music, dance, theater, cinema, and sports from Africa and its diaspora. High profile international guests and artists will participate in opening ceremonies and throughout the festival celebrating Black civilizations and their ongoing contributions and resistance.
