2. INTRODUCTON
Water is the unique part of Earth It includes 71%
of water and 29% of land. Because of this reason
our earth is also known as blue planet.
We may think that from where do water
originate water originates from mountains .so
water source Is mountain and it will be mixed
with the rivers ,seas and oceans.which is known
as mouth of the river.
Do you know the watery part of the earth is
known as Hydrosphere which includes ice sheets
from polar regions and the high mountain region
underground Water,Atmosphere and water
vapour.
3. WATER CYCLE
Water cycle also referred as hydrological cycle is
simplified as the change of water from one form
to another.
In water cycle water continously moves from the
surface of the earth Into the atmosphere and
reverses again in different forms this is the
formation of water cycle.
They are overall 4 operations they are
evaporation in the form of water vapour,
condensation which is formed when the
temparature falls in and the precipitation in the
form of rain, snow, heel or sleet and the collection
which collects the water droplets.

5. THE OCEANS
What are oceans ocean is a large water body
which contain fresh water
Do you know they are 5 Major oceans they are
Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Indian Ocean,
Southern Ocean And Arctic Ocean.
We will know About this oceans in the further
slide.
6. PACIFIC OCEAN
Image of Pacific Ocean Pacific Ocean is the
largest ocean in the
world.its name was
given byFerdinand
Magellan for its peace
so he called it ‘Mar
Pacifo’
 It’s depth is 4,282 and
its very large there is a
range of volcanoes here
which is known as ring
of fire.mariana trench is
the large spot in the
earth surface which Is
in pacific ocean.
8. ATLANTIC OCEAN
Atlantic ocean is the second largest ocean a
submerged mountain is in the middle of this
range which is also known as mid range
mountain.
They are many ports and harbours along its
coasts it is the busiest ocean in the world in
terms of transpotation the Atlantic ocean Is also
saltiest ocean and its saltinity is contributed by
the process of evaporation,precipitation and
melting and river in flow.
This river is shaped in the letter ‘s’
9. INDIAN OCEAN
Indian Ocean Indian ocean is the 3
rd largest ocean in the
world its name is
given after its country
name this river Is
shaped in triangular
shape.
 Its depth is 4,000 m
Indian ocean includes
2 major water bodies
Arabian sea and Bay
of Bengal.
11. SOUTHERN OCEAN
Southern ocean is the 4 th largest ocean in the
world is located near the south pole it is also
called as Antarctic ocean
It is completely located in the south hemisphere
it remains frozen in the winters.
This ocean encompasses an area of approximetly
35 million square kilometre
The southernmost part in the southern ocean is
mc murdo station which is an american based
research base.
13. ARCTIC OCEAN
Arctic Ocean is the smallest and shallowest ocean
it is located near the north pole and extends in
the south up
Most parts are remained covered with a thick
sheet through out the year
The arctic ocean is surrounded by 3 continents
they are North America,Asia and Europe.
It merges with the atlantic ocean between
greenland and scandivania and is connected to
the pacific ocean through the narrow bering
strait.

15. IMPORTANCE OF OCEANS
Oceans are important because they give us
maintain temperature, food, oil and gas and water
etc…
Ocean help to moderate the earth’s temperature
by absorbing the incoming solar radiation.
Oceans provide us source of food it has been
estimated that as much as 10 percent of human
protein intake comes from the oceans
Do you know water takes 1000 years to travel all
the way around the globe.
