9. Directions:
1. Place block of wood on the ground with the hole facing up.
2. Place a nail in the hole in the wood so that it balances on its own.
3. Lay one nail on the ground so that the double nail heads are facing right.
4. Place 9 nails perpendicular along the length of the nail that you placed on the ground.
Place them so the nail on the ground is between the nail heads. Stagger each nail on
opposite sides of the nail on the ground.
5. Lay the last nail with the heads to the left over top and between the nail heads that
you staggered in step 3.
6. Carefully grab both sides of the nails that are laying on the ground and lift up the nail
structure. If done correctly, all the nails should lock into place when lifted.
7. Place the structure on the head of the nail on the block of wood so that it balances
when let go.
