The report discusses the contributions and challenges of capacity building and education thematic groups regarding the adoption of conservation agriculture (CA) in an unnamed region. It finds that resource mobilization and capacity building made the most significant contributions to CA adoption so far. Key obstacles include: CA not being promoted as a business; poor access to mechanization services; inadequate extension services and policy support; and limited opportunities for innovation in livestock integration. Over three years, interventions should focus on learning from non-adopters, linking farmers to markets, farm size demonstrations, improving extension services, revising policies, and supporting innovation in livestock integration.
