2. Who are we
We are students and teachers
in 53rd Lyceum of Athens,
Greece, an awarded Eco-School.

3. Our plan
To discover the "hidden
treasures" of Athens
by using a new app created for
the educational program
Kids4theCity,
coordinated by Technopolis-
City of Athens

4. Our Action
We explored the monuments
that exist in the urban
environment of Athens with the
help of the application
Kids4TheCity.

5. Our Action
The app suggests 3 different routes in the
city centre.
We selected to walk through the
Panepistimio-Syntagma route.
Apart from some well-known
monuments, we discovered others that
are not so prominent and known and
learned a lot of information about each
one through a funny game of questions
that challenged our observability and
imagination!

6. We enjoyed studying some
impressive buildings and
sculptures of downtown Athens
and
walked through picturesque
pedestrian streets and squares.

City of Athens Cultural Centre
The Neoclassical Trilogy of Athens
City of Athens Museum
(The National Library -
The University - The Academy)

9. Conclusions
The experiences we had as an
environmental team discovering the
artistic marvels in the centre of Athens
will be unforgettable!
