About us
Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya is a private university established under
Madhya Pradesh Niji Vishwavidyalaya ( Sthapana Avam Sanchalan) Adhiniyam in
2015 at Indore MP(India). The University has been established with a vision to be
leader in shaping better future for mankind through quality education, training and
research. It shall pursue the mission to make a difference in sustaining the growth of
global societies by developing socially responsible citizens. Some of the objectives
of the University are as under:
1.To provide teaching and training in higher education and make provision for
research as well as advancement and dissemination of knowledge.
2.To ensure world class quality in its offerings and create higher levels of
intellectual abilities.
3.To create centres of excellence for research and development for sharing
knowledge and its applications.

Our Achievements
•The department has achieved NBA Accreditation from National Board of Accreditation
consecutively in the year 2006 and 2011.
• Department has also organized Nation Textile Summit (NTS – 2013) Aug 30th & 31st
2013 jointly with Textile Association of India (TAI) inaugurated by Dr. K. S. Rao, Minister
of Textiles Government of India.
• Department is having a track record of 100% placement continuously in the years 2011-15.
• Lectra software was included in the curriculum of the final year syllabus under the
Advanced CAD in Textile.
• Meeting of BoS on August 2014.
• The Department has imparted training to the students of SDPS Women College, Indore on
CAD in Textile and Textile Testing.

• Department of Computer Science & Engineering accredited by NBA for 3 Years. From
March 15, 2012 to March 15, 2015).
• Department has Student Branch of Computer Society of India (CSI-SB) from July
2011.
• Department is working as a coordinator for Institutional Membership of Indian Society
of Technical Education.
• Department has Remote Centre of IIT Bombay. Our Remote Centre name is SVITS-
RC and Remote Centre ID is 1117. IIT Bombay organizes different training, Research
Program & workshop at their Remote Centre. IIT-Bombay has organized 9 workshops
at SVITS-RC in association Computer Science & Engineering Department till date. The
entire workshop & Training program has been done by video conferencing through
Internet by IIT-Bombay.
