2. VERBS
A phrasal verb is formed by two separeted Words, the
verb and a gramatical particle, this last part gives to the
verb a different meaning to the verb itself.
1. GIVE UP: stop doing something or do not keep
doing something.
Paul is very sick, he should give up smoking.
3. 2. TURN DOWN: reduce the volume of an
electronic device.

4. 3. Take up: start doing a new activity or accept a
job opportunity.
She took up the offer of working in Suzuki.
5. 4. TURN UP: used to increase volume of an
electronic device, also means to appear without
advice in somewhere.
