2. STOP FRAME ANIMATION
• Stop frame is an animation technique to make a physical
objects appear to move on its own, this is by using individual
camera shots of a different movement. Putting these shots
together results in an animation clip.
• This process is used for many productions such as Wallace and
Gromit and Creature Comforts. These were both produced my
Aardman Animations who are one of the leading stop motion
animators.

Persistence of vision is the phenomenon of the eye by
which an afterimage is thought to persist for approximately
one twenty-fifth of a second on the retina.

lead to the praxinoscope
being made and also
lead to animation being
viewed simpler.

9. Aardman, is a British animation studio based in Bristol, United
Kingdom. The studio is known for films made using stop-motion clay
animation techniques, particularly those featuring Plasticine
characters Wallace and Gromit.
