3. Success
Criteria-Photos related to central idea and are explained how they
relate
-Photos need to be clear and good quality
-Images conveys a intended message
-Clues to help the audience infer
-Show and explain
-Rights
-Actions
-Opportunities
-Circumstances
4. Rights
Rights are something the government should do to help
fulfill your potential. No one should deny your access to
rights and opportunities. Someone should help you learn
your rights and to help you get them, not to go against
them
5. Actions
Actions are what you do to help someone. For example
our school are always donating things to charity, reducing
the use of paper, trying to raise awareness etc.
6. Opportunities
Opportunities is a privilege, most of the kids in more
developed countries have more privileges. Like us, we have
a lot of chances to go to school, play, rest, have a good
family etc.
7. ircumstances
Circumstances is a situation that you are in, like some of
the circumstances for Hong Kong people are that they cant
afford a good apartment/house, there rights are being
appalled etc.
8. Article
31- You
have
the
right to
play
and
rest
This relates to the
central idea
because my
parents actions
supported me
The right is above, the actions
is on the left, the opportunities
are that I get to play and I get
to come to this school, there
are no circumstances for me.
9. Article 19-
You have
the right to
be protected
from being
hurt and
mistreated,
in body or
mind.
This connects to the
central idea because
the person who is
beating up the guy that
is like dead is denying
his rights.
The right is above, the actions
are on the left, there aren’t
any opportunities except the
bully gets to beat up the guy,
the circumstances are that the
guy is being beaten up
10. Article 24- You
have the right to
the best health
care possible,
safe water to
drink from,
nutritious food,
a clean and safe
environment,
and information
to help you stay
well.
This connects to the central
idea because UNICEF actions
supported the poor persons
access to rights and
opportunities
The right is above, the actions are
on the left, the opportunities are
that the poor person gets
something very special, the
circumstances are that the poor
guy is living in poverty.
12. Iqbal
There is a story of Iqbal, he took a lot of action to support
the other children. The action he took was that he escaped
form the carpet factory and found a man that wants to free
children from child labour, later on he got to free most of the
children. All the masters were denying the children's rights.
13. ST.JUDES
Kim (Manger) was once just a normal person until she met
someone, they both had a same dream - Building a school for
poor children. So they did that, each year they get 150 new
students they must be the poorest but the brightest. Kim’s
actions supported more than a thousand of kids access to rights
and opportunities
14. UnICEF
UNICEF is a very helpful organization, they give things to the
poor.Their actions always support access to rights and
opportunities
15. Rosa
PARKS/MARTIN
LUTHER KING
Rosa Parks is a person who fought for the black peoples
rights, some things she did was not giving a seat up for a
white etc. Her actions supported access to rights and
opportunities for the black people.
16. Proving The
Central Idea
I think the central idea is true because actions do support
and deny access to rights and opportunities. If you don’t
believe me I have proof with this keynote
