The document is a report by Vincent Salazar for his 6th grade religion class teacher Ms. Rea about The Creation Project, a Twitter account that shares posts with the hashtags #godcreationproject about religious topics such as creation. The report consists primarily of repetitive hashtags for the Twitter account and project.
My name is Vincent Salazar and this is my Creation Project. I blended Genesis chapters 1 and 2. In Genesis chapter 1, God creates Adam and Eve and in Genesis chapter 2, they separate.
My Creation story is told from the perspective of God. I did a diary but used Twitter, twitter.com/GodCreationProj to post instead of writing in a page like a regular diary. Each post is God tweeting what he is doing and why. I set up a real twitter profile, found a picture of the universe for the background image and an image of the letters for Alpha and Omega to use as an image of God. The title of the profile page is Creation Project and the username is @GodCreationProj. I included a sentence about God, “I am the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end.” His location is Everywhere because God is everywhere. The link to a website I used heaven.com. I pinned a post at the top to use as my cover page like in my report. When you Pin tweets they stay on top even after you keep posting. This pinned tweet also lets someone know that this twitter profile is for a class project.
IN THE BEGINNING, I was bored and feeling creative so I decided to create the heavens and the earth. I think it is going to be amazing because earth will now see what heaven may look like. I will make heaven with clouds and the earth full of nature and living things.
I am light but I thought earth might want to have some light of its own then I said it can’t always be day there has to be a night. I held the sphere of blazing fire and shaped it to be dense and brighter. It will be good for earth’s warmth and light so there will be many plants.
When I was finished making the sun I was thinking to myself that it can’t always be day because during the day it is hot in many places, so at night the earth can be cooler. The colors blue, black, and purple make me think of “night” so those are the colors I will use for night.
Then while I was creating the earth I formed the firmament which was a dome of the heavens above, the waters of the firmament, firmament of earth, earth, and last was the underworld. The sun, moon and stars are in the Windows.
As I brought together the waters of the ocean, I saw what was left and wondered, “What should I call this?”, so I decided to call it land. The land will have trees and grass to make oxygen out of the carbon dioxide. I will pick green for the plants brown for the land and soil and the stones will be grey.
When I was done creating the land I said, “What is today?”, and I said let there be seasons, days, months, and years. As days and seasons go by, it will help keep track of time on earth. I will make a season for plants to grow and “spring” (get it?) out of the earth. The next season will be when all leaves “fall” (get it?) off the trees. Autumn will bring in the cold winter.
The skies looked dark and empty so I thought that night and day should have their own light. I placed the sun in the day sky and created the moon and stars to light up the night sky.
The earth looked so empty so I brought every living creature and creeping beast of the earth, the animals. They will live in the jungles, forests, plains, and mountains. I will make fish for the sea.
When I was done creating animals I created a man and called him Adam. From a rib of Adam I made woman and called her Eve.
I told them to name each animal of the land and the sea.
Day 6, I’m almost finished…
On the last day of Creation, I decided it was a day of rest. I was happy and felt proud of my job……My Creation is about the pretties thing I’ve ever seen.
