  • 39. 8A 4 3 7 %1+ Disruptive technologies like WiFi & WiMaX are already changing the ‘traditional’ value chain of mobility. “Wireless economics” behind WiFi/WiMAX are more attractive for enterprises than regular monthly 3G bills... As well as for consumers! Will wireless VOIP (Voice-over-WiFi/WiMAX) be considered a telco service or a software application? Does it make a difference? People will use it anyway! Mobile operators and/or Fixed Telcos can seize a a big market opportunity for supporting the new mobile virtual network operators/communication providers (wireless airports, wireless cities, wireles rail, wireless retail, etc). 38
