2. The very next shot consists of a birds eye view
of the woman placing her hand on a photo
copier. Next, a very intricate editing technique
is implemented to show the woman side by side with
her ‘crush’ performing the same action. This was
done using a panning view with a transition into a split
screen.
In the opening shot of Post-it Love a woman
is seen through a mid-shot camera angle. Her
facial expression and body language were
captured in this shot.

3. Creativity was used in this shot to show
two potential lovers in an awkward
situation. They are seen noticing each other
from across the room while a office wall is between
them. The shot is a behind the shoulder of the
woman looking at the man, capturing the
emotion of the man.
The office wall can also be seen as a
symbol of distance which is evident
between the two characters
because they haven’t spoken to each other.

4. The shyness that was evident
in the previous scene is also
portrayed in this scene when
the girl leaves a blue paper
with a smiley face made out
of post-it notes.
The man then rolls back his chair ad looks
Around only to find the girl
avoiding confrontation
Across the room.

5. Scene 4 shows the female lifting up
her blinds and I find a yellow sun made
out of post it notes stuck on her
window. After she sees the sun made
out of post-its on her window she
looks around to see if anyone is
watching.
This shows that the relationship that the
female and the male has is a secret. The shot
used for this scene is a wide shot / long shot,
this shot enables the viewer
to see the background of the office setting
Portraying the office relationship.

6. In this scene a clever mirror reflection
Is used to show post-its forming a
thought bubble with a heart inside. This is used
to imply that the guy is thinking about love but
it also brings a comedic, flirty element
to the short film that will entice the audience
The heart represents her loving interest
and cleverly tries to give a sign to the male
that he may be thinking the same

7. In this scene, an extreme close-up is used to
Show the woman's reaction to the flowers on
the wall. During this quick clip, the woman's
pupils begin to dilate as the light turns on
and excitement can be seen directly
from her face.
Another clever method of
attaching art to someone is used in
the micro film. The behind the back
angle of the woman with her hand
out, leaves an illusion which
suggests that she is holding
flowers.

8. In the seventh scene the female is seen
hoping to overwhelm the male with creativity
on her next attempt. She is holding a
large number of post-it notes and showing
that she is fully invested in this ‘competition’.

9. As the female is walking towards her
destination, the camera is panning
backwards, which adds an element of
suspense to the scene.

just incase someone is looking at
her because she wants to
remain incognito during this process.
While she is walking down the corridor
with enthusiasm, a clos-up is then used
To show the shock on her face once
She finds out that the male ‘beat her to the punch’.

10. The male has beaten her to
the final post with a huge
collage of their faces on the
back wall of the office, and
this concludes both the
loving interest and shyness
representation because they
both show that they like
each other but both have
troubles speaking to each
other.
Finally they establish that they
have a love interest for each other.
