Provide wet tissue to client to clean after the
face
Provide re-wetting drops to salve for patient
eye
Administer corticosteroids to decrease
inflammation
Ask the patient whether still in pain and ask
them to get rest
6. implementation
Monitor for visual changes because dryness of
eye can lead to irritation of cornea
Provide meals in private because patient may
have difficulty keeping food in mouth
Monitor for pain control of the patient
If prolong effect or pain occur, refers to
physicians
7. evaluation
The
patient was fully recovered
If
the goal was partially met or was not
meet, the care plan may need to be
revised or the client needs more time to
achieve the goals.
Reassess
the care plan.
