Goal
 The goal of the program is to improve
the health of pregnant women,
infants and children (under age 5)
through better nutrition and access to
health care.

Who Do We Serve?
 WIC is available to Virginia’s:
 pregnant,
 breastfeeding, and
 postpartum women,
 infants and children under the age of five
who are at nutritional risk and who are
at or below 185 percent of the federal
poverty guidelines.
