      • Refine and extend the current GBIF platform for:
      • Discovery and access to controlled vocabularies supported within the GBIF & ViBRANT (and other) networks
      • Drafting and publishing new controlled vocabularies
      • Drafting and publishing extensions to the DarwinCore for two core biodiversity data classes (taxon occurrence and taxon)
      • Supporting communal internationalisation of supported vocabularies.

      • Scratchpad users where controlled vocabularies are part of data entry, search forms, and other user interfaces.
      • Provide a platform for internationalisation of key vocabularies to support uptake of infrastructure in other countries and regions.
