Hugo is a 12 years-old orphan who
lives in the walls of a busy Paris
railway terminal. He works as a clock
keeper. He is a persistent boy and
talented to fix a clock. He wants to be
a magician.

4. Isabelle Méliès
An orphan girl who has been adopted
by Georges Méliès. She likes to read
novel that she borrowed from her
friend, Etienne. She accompanies
Hugo on most of his adventures.

5. Georges Méliès
Usually called as Papa Georges that
owns a small toy booth in train station
at Paris. When he was a young man,
he worked as magician and later,
become an important film maker.

6. Jeanne d’Alcy
Is Papa George’s wife that is usually
called as Mama Jeanne or Madame
Jeanne. She’s a warm-hearted wife
and when she was a young lady, she

husband’s movies.
