Set up predetermined break times for
students to work towards. If students
exude on-task behavior for a certain
length of time, they can be rewarded
with a sticker on their behavior chart or
the advancement of a clip on a
Behavior chart.

Auditory Impairment?
Students with hearing disabilities can be
serviced within the classroom with the
incorporation of a wireless microphone and
headset. The teacher clips the microphone
onto his/her shirt collar, and the student
wears a headset that synchs via Bluetooth to
hear. Students can control the volume and
also keep their hearing impairment discrete.

Reading and Writing Disabilities?
Incorporating the use of tablets within the
classroom, students can work in pairs to follow
along with videos, PowerPoint presentations,
and other visual projections through the use of
the tablet. Students can use apps geared
toward reading and writing easily, and students
can have more instant feedback from the use
of software geared towards their specific
needs.
