background,
3 IEPS, 1 Gifted student
Lower middle class
Mostly Christian
Mixture of Visual and auditory
learners
Students are reading on grade
level for the most part
3. OBJECTIVE
• My class will be able to categorize, illustrate, and define, 5
figures of speech, (…), by the end of the week at 80% accuracy.
4. DAY BY DAY BREAKDOWN
• Monday: I will be addressing simile and metaphor.
• Tuesday: I will be going over the 3 types of irony.
• Wednesday: I will be teaching on alliteration and anaphora.
• Thursday: I will be explaining, euphemism, sarcasm and
puns.
• Friday: I will be addressing oxymoron, personification, and
hyperbole.
