3. Stuff to take - Everyone
• Walking shoes for Diamond head. (trainers)
• Sunscreen, hats , togs, clothes, camera – I will
have my laptop to download photos if you need
to.
• Locks for your bag (TSA approved or cable ties),
backpack for day to day use.
• Cash for first few days – get more out when
there.
• Breakfast cereals, muesli bars, noodles etc
• Plug board and adapter – one per room.
• Your passport and a pen for the plane.

6. Volcano day
• If you are going to the volcano you need;
• Walking shoes, raincoat, bottled water , lunch
• We will buy the water and lunch once we
arrive at Walmart
• We will be picked up at 8am – we depart from
Hilo at 8:20pm arrive back around 9:30pm

7. Volcano Day
• If you are not going on the Volcano day;
• You will be doing the trolley tour of Honolulu
(you need $25 for this)
• You will choose to visit the Zoo ($12) or
Aquarium ($9 or $6) after the tour.
• You will be given your further instructions
after the activities by Miss Sladen
8. Hanauma Bay Day
• We will be dropped off outside the bay and
walk in ( local rules )
• We will have time to snorkel in the park after
an orientation video.
• You can hire gear or bring your own. If you are
hiring you need to leave a deposit.
• After you are done either get a cab, a trolley
or the public bus (cheapest) back to waikiki.

9. Shopping Day
• We will be picked up from the malia at 9:30 to
be taken to Waikele outlet shops.
• Return times will be 1 or 4pm - you choose at
the beginning of the day.

10. Pearl Harbour Day
• AS we are going to the Arizona Memorial we should
dress respectfully, shirts and shorts today please. No
singlets etc
• We will be picked up from the malia at 9am and will go
directly into the memorial. Bags need to be left outside
with one of our staff.
• After the tour we will walk across the road to the flea
market where you can do some shopping.
• You are free to return when you wish and we will show
you where you meet to get the pre paid shuttle back to
the malia.
• Keep hold of your tickets you get on the way out as
these get you home ( a taxi is around $50)
