First days itinerary • Day One Tuesday 8th July Depart Auckland Airport at 2355 meet at 2045 by the Hawaiian Airline counter Hawaiian airlines HA 446 08JUL Auckland – Honolulu Depart 2355 Arrive 0945 Seat information for the plane is at ; http://www.hawaiianairlines.com/services/pages/airbus-a330.aspx
  3. 3. First Days Itinerary Tuesday 8th 0945 arrive Honolulu 1100 The Amazing Race ($10) 1400 Diamond Head climb – walk back to Malia (you need shoes for this) Check into room 1730 Dinner at Hard Rock Cafe ($30) Night Swim at Waikiki Main Beach Top of Diamond head The End of the Amazing Race
  4. 4. First Days Itinerary Wednesday 9th Breakfast at IHOP ($10) Grand Circle Island Tour 9am to 5pm Ala Moana for dinner ($10) Chinaman’s Hat IHOP - Breakfast
  5. 5. First days itinerary Thursday 10th Waikele Factory Shops pick up 9am Return at 1pm or 4pm Chilis for Dinner ($20) Shopping Day

Friday 11th Volcano Day Honolulu - Hilo Depart 0811 Arrive 0901 (0630 pickup) Hilo - Honolulu Depart 2059 Arrive 2148 You need walking shoes and a raincoat (and passport) – backpack only for carry on luggage We will buy supplies when we arrive and spend the day exploring Or 0900 pickup for VIP tour of Honolulu and then visit the zoo or aquarium Free Choice dinner ($20)
  7. 7. Things to sort out • Cash – Bring enough for the first few days then take more out if you want. EFTPOS costs $5 every time so only take out large amounts at a time and give it to your group leader. • Insurance – Have you got it sorted ? • Power adapters – Two per room with multiboard plugged into them • Gear for the first day. – Shoes for walking in and clothes to get changed into (either in the top of your bag or in hand luggage)

INSURANCE INFO - There are no forms to fill in to take up the travel insurance but anyone who has a medical condition will need to call the medical line for an assessment once a policy is issued and there maybe a surcharge to pay.
