2. • As you can see, this is a circle
conic. I say this because it goes
into a complete 360 degree
shape. I located this circle on the
side of our dingy heating systems
at school. This may not be the
most attractive circle, but it gets
the job done.
3. • This is a picture of a
negative parabola on the y-
axis. I could tell that it
would be negative because
the open side of the curve is
pointing down. This is also
an example of how dirty this
school.
4. • This is an ellipse. I could tell
that it is instead of a circle
because ellipse have a oval
like shape instead of a
perfect 360 shape.
5. • The two curves represent a
hyperbola. You could tell
because….well you just
could.
6. These are examples of system of linear
equations because they consist of two lines
that intersect. As you can see on the first
picture the two cords are crossing each other.
In the second picture, if you look down at the
bars, you could see that the wires are also
intersecting.
