It is a 180 hrs. course during which the entire syllabus
of CBSE-PMT & various other Medical Entrance Exams, will be
discussed to make the students equipped with all techniques to
crack the intricate level of problems thereby boosting their level
of confidence. This course is conducted in three stages:
Stage-l: From 3rd week of March, 2010 to 1st week of
April, 2010.The students will be thoroughly prepared for CBSE
Preliminary Exam. 2010. The classes will be held on all days till
one day prior to CBSE Preliminary Exam. 2010.

to ISM Dhanbad, IT-BHU Varanasi, IIST, IISER and T.S
Chanakya is also through JEE.
Release of Application Forms for IIT-JEE: In the month of
November (tentatively)
Date of Examination: Second Week of April (tentatively)
Eligibility Criteria for Appearing in IIT-JEE:
(A) A candidate can attempt JEE only twice, in consecutive
years. Candidate who have passed (10+2) or equivalent
qualifying examination and secured 60% or more [50% or
more for SC/ST & persons with Physical Disability (PD)
marks in aggregate in their respective board examination
are eligible.

28. (B) Those who have appeared in JEE in 2008 or earlier are
not eligible for appearing in JEE 2010
Pattern of Examination: In recent times, IIT-JEE Council
has been changing its testing pattern almost every year.
This year there will be two question papers of three hours
duration, each consisting of separate section in Physics,
Chemistry and Mathematics. Questions in these papers
will be of objective type which are to be answered on a
specially designed machine-gradable sheet.
AIEEE
For admission to engineering and architecture / planning
programmes, Government of India vide Resolution dated 2001 has

29. laid down a three – Exam scheme (JEE and AIEEE) at the national
level and the State Level institutions-with an option to join AIEEE.
The AIEEE is held on the last Sunday of April every year and is a three
hour objective exam with 35 questions in each subject (P,C, M) as
per year 2008 pattern. For B.Arch. students one extra paper of
aptitude test will also be there.
Approximately,12000 seats in 117 institutions, namely 20 National
Institutes of Technology, 15 Deemed Universities,79 other Technical
Institutions, 3 other Govt. funded Institutions and 2 state Universities
spread over different states of India offer seats through this
examination
