A 60 Second Sound bite is a concise, punchy, planned description that overviews the value
provided by your business. It provides the answer to the listener, “what’s in it for me?” or
“what’s in it for my organization? It leaves your listener wanting to know more.
TWELVE TOP TIPS FOR YOUR 60
SECOND SOUND BITE
1. Refer to the template for ease and success
2. Know what you want to achieve
3. It’s not about you... it is about how you benefit the listener
4. Know your target customer and chose what is most interesting to them
5. Keep it real – don’t use slang or jargon
6. Solve a Problem – don’t give a list of services. Focus on a problem you can
solve for the listener - talk about the client you went the extra mile for
7. Let your enthusiasm show
8. Smile and be approachable
9. Keep it to maximum 60 Seconds
10. Be specific with your referral request
11. Preparation is key to confidence - Practice – Get feedback from a friend
or colleague
12. Keep it fresh – it should grow and change with your current business

In One2Three we have only 2 ground rules:
1. We only work with people who are serious
about growing their business through quality
referrals and who will contribute quality
referrals back to the team
2. We prefer to grow by recommendation and
personal introduction which is why we ask
members to bring along guests to sample
