On a windy day, a child asks their mother what the wind is saying as it blows against the windows, doors, trees, and house. The mother tells the child that the wind is demanding each object to open or move out of the way, but the window, door, trees, and house all refuse so that they can keep the children warm, safe, and protected from the wind. Even when the wind threatens to break or blow them down, they stand firm. Finally, the mountain laughs at the wind's demand to move and pushes it up into the sky, allowing the wind to tire itself out and fall asleep as peace returns.
