2. What is PROPORTION?
Proportion is the relationship of objects
or parts of objects to one another and to the
design as a whole.
Relationships are based on sizes and
shapes. Also partnered with S C A L E.
Proportion is often expressed in RATIOS.
3. What is PROPORTION?
The most pleasing proportion is 2 to 3
which means that if an object is 2 feet wide
to should be 3 feet long. (similar also to 3 to
and 5 to 8)
The golden rule is the division of a line
anyplace between one-half and one-third of
its total length.
