3. FOUNDATION
• In 1993, Nélida Carruba founded IVO school.
• It was created responding to the needs of the
community and to the new times that were
anticipated in education matters.
4. LOCATION
The institution is located in Avellaneda,
Buenos Aires, Argentina, at the south of the
capital city.
5. WHO HAD THE IDEA?
• Nélida was a teacher who wanted to help with
ideas, information and passion to innovate in
education.
• She was involved in the foundation of IVO
school with her work and action. She is
currently the headmistress of the primary.
6. WHO HAD THE IDEA?
• The first thing Nélida did was find a place to
start creating the kindergarten. As students
finished school, parents wanted to create the
primary.
• The school was growing with changes and
continuity until it reached what it is now. This
year we celebrate the first 25 years of the
school.
