The Florida Institute of Technology through Florida Tech Consulting proposes to develop and provide an innovative and inclusive training and service program for Kennedy Space Center workers that enable the development of small entrepreneurial companies. The program will enable small business to leverage the existing federal law and prime contractor requirements for small business to gain competitive advantage in the federal market. Companies learn how to be registered and qualified to be Federal Contractors for NASA, DOD, and any of the other 1700+ different federal agencies. Additionally, the program will provide assistance to help eligible companies become 8(a) certified and HUBzone certified businesses.
