2. Please take care of me? When you take care of me remember this. Medaka larvae begin to feed the following day of hatching (so don’t forget to feed me) The aquarium must be baby proofed, filters must be shut off to prevent injury and the plants at the bottom of the tank need to be good oxygenators. The water temperature should be 16-28 degrees celeius.

5. Day 3! (after weekend) So I got put back in my dish yesterday, and I thought I was all done getting examined for a while, I thought I had time to rest, apparently this is going to become a regular day thing…until I hatched! But today is day 4! I have 139 heart beats per minute.I'amat stage 28, which is 74 hours. the heart is now bent. pink blood is obvious in the heart. the tail has lengthened the embryo to about 1.7mm. about 30 somites have developed.
7. Day 5! Yay! Almost time to hatch! Hopefully soon I can get out of this stinking egg!109 heart beats per minute. I'm at stage 29, which is 84 hours. The Cardinal and viteline veins take a sinous path in lieu of branching. The pigmented retina can be seen. The pectoral fin appears thick and bluntly pointed. The tail may lash and move the whole animal.

10. Day 8! Soooo! Today is day 8! And I have hatched! I’m at stage by 36! Which is 264 hours! I'm so happy because I can go freely. But the problem is, is I haven't came out of my egg part ): this sucks. Well my parents will have to come back later and see how I am doing. But as you can see I have developed a mouth and jaws (even thought the picture is not that clear)
11. Day 9! Well looks like today…I died ): This is horrible, I don’t get to be adventurous like I wanted to be, but I still had a pretty good life while it lasted.
