The man who inspired me to doing sport
1. The man who inspired me to doing sport is my first
coach, Valeriy Andreevich.
2. When I was 5 years old
or about it, my dad
took me to karate. I
entered School of
Martial Arts and
immediately saw a man
who was wearing white
kimono and black belt my future coach.
Valeriy Andreevich
invited me to join the
training.
At the beginning,
trainings seemed very
difficult for me, but
Valeriy Andreevich and I
worked together to set
out a training schedule,
which could allow me
to improve my physical
conditions. Over a
course of a month or
two, I progressed a lot
3. four challenging trainings per
week.
At some of our practices we
were doing acrobatics, at
others we were being taught
to act as a team by playing
team sports, such as
basketball, volleyball and so
on. Sometimes our couch told
us about different situations
from his life, about injuries he
had had and difficulties he had
overcome. Telling about his
life experience, he gave us
useful life lessons! During
trainings, Valeriy Andreevich
wasn't only coaching us but
also forming our character, as
mental fitness is also very
significant for sportsmen.
Valeriy Andreevich has always
acted as an example for us: he
was brave, reliable,
responsible and always ready
to help by showing exercises,
4. Valeriy Andreevich always says that sport gives us the most important
thing in our life – health. He has a lot of awards and prizes, but he’s sure
that all the medals of the world are not worth maintaining health.
Thanks to him I realized that sport is very important in my live, as it gives
me strength, stamina, willpower and of course health! I don't do karate
now, but I will always remember Valeriy Andreevich as a man who got me
to sports and inspired to victories!
