Sean Jahanabin, sophomore, (left) kicks soccer ball with Andy Martinez ,sophomore,
counter attacking from the right. Sean has played soccer since he was a little kid ,and
though he never played for a club ,its one of his favorite sports. “Soccer makes my
body tingle with adrenaline and its one of the best feelings,” he said after scoring a
goal for his team.

played all his life including playing
for both Frisco High and multiple
clubs. “I’ve lived my best moments
with a ball at my feet,” he said as
he lead his team to a victory.

game. Andy played for six years and moved
from Spain where he played as defense for a
Spain soccer club team. “ Working out and
playing soccer is a good way to kinda forget
about school and stress and just workout”Is
practically Andys slogan.

5. Aryian Alialebarian ,sophomore, working
his abs with the class. Aryian likes
Weightlifting class because he gets to
workout and lift weights, his favorite form
of exercise. Ariyan hopes to be able to
use the skills and the workouts he
learned to be able to do it on his own.

6. Coach Yancy chats with his students about different
weight lifting techniques. Coach Yancy has been
coaching 15 years including the past 2 years as the
Football and Powerlifting coach at Frisco High
School. “I enjoy working in this class due to the
fact that I help them become better athletes and
students overall,” he said after leading the last
workout of the day for Weightlifting class.

7. Justus Pope ,junior, does pull ups as part of his
arm routine. Justus likes to run and weight lift
to get in his daily exercise. In weightlifting his
favorite workout is power cleaning. “Getting
more muscle just makes me feel, good,”
Justus said after rigorous arm workout day. He
hopes to learn better weightlifting techniques
and even how to play better soccer.

9. Leo Lomeny ,junior, plays as the goalie
of the wining team in a friendly soccer
game. Leo played soccer at an early age
and has always been a sporty person.
Although he never played for a club he
loves to play friendly street games with
his friends.

Justus plays Soccer, Basketball, Power
lifts, and runs Track. “ Playing sports
helps me to be active while still having
fun and being with my friends,” he said
before joining in a game of Soccer.

coach. “The cool thing about this class is I get to
learn how to be a better soccer player and athlete
next along with making friends and having fun,”

Ariyan Alialebarian participating in an arm routine lead by coach
Yancy. Ariyan’s favorite workout is bench press because he loves
to build his arm muscles. “ Your not only building muscles
though, your also building confidence,” is Ariyans motto.

he hopes to be, a victorious track season.
Justus plans to start running with a team this
upcoming spring most likely running long
distance. Although he has never been on a
team outside of school he Justus is “ready for
the challenge of something new”.

15. Leo Lorenz laughs seeing his fellow team
mates joke around. Leo likes Weightlifting
class because it helps to get into a normal
schedule that includes exercise. Leo’s favorite
form of exercise is running, especially long
distance. “[Weightlifting] keeps me moving,
fit, and healthy,” Leo said after a good game
of Soccer.

Nicolas Ruiz ,junior, preps for his second set of bench press in his arm workout
routine. Bench press is his favorite form of working out because he loves to
thoroughly work his arm muscles. Nicolas likes taking Weightlifting class because it
forces a workout into his ‘lazy schedule’ and he like that it is a class that allows you
to “heap the benefits”. “ Working out is the bomb because you get the
refreshment and the adrenaline all in one.”
