8. Flash Lite
• Flash Lite 1.0: Flash Lite is the Flash technology specifically
developed for mobile phones and consumer electronics

9. Flash Video
Flash Video is the name of a file format used to
deliver video over the Internet using Adobe Flash
Player (initially produced by Macromedia) versions 6–10. Until
version 9 update 2 of the Flash Player, Flash Video referred to
a proprietary file format, having the extension FLV. The most
recent public release of Flash Player supports H.264 video
and HE-AAC audio. Flash Video content may also be embedded
within SWF files. Notable users of the Flash Video format
include YouTube,Google Video, Yahoo!
Video, Reuters.com, and many other news providers.

13. Adobe Media Player
Adobe Media Player is a desktop media
player provided by Adobe primarily for
the purpose of advertising partner
content. It offers users to manage and
interact with their media content, and
allows content publishers to define
branding and advertising in and around
their content. The Adobe Media Player
will be one of the first Adobe
AIR applications from Adobe Systems. It
was announced at NAB show in Las Vegas
and was released in April 2008
15. Adobe Flash Media Server ( FMS )
Flash Media Server (FMS) is a proprietary
data and media server from Adobe
Systems Inc. (originally
a Macromedia product). This server works
with the Flash Player runtime to create
media driven, multiuser RIAs (Rich
Internet Applications)
16. FMS Usage
• Video on Demand, streaming video stored on
the server to the flash client.
• Live Video, an application which allows user to
broadcast their own video from a webcam live to
other users or to the server for recording and on
demand viewing later.
• Real Time Communication, an application which
requires collaboration between multiple clients,
such as a chat room or multiplayer game.
