and Sites.

Google Docs

Free, Web-based Microsoft Office like tools including
word processor, spreadsheet, presentation, and form
application offered by Google. It allows users to create
and edit documents online while collaborating in real-
time with other users.
Scenario: You need to prepare an information material
which requires involvement of many people and will be
published in different languages

Google Calendar

Google Calendar is a free time-management web
application offered by Google. While users are not
required to have a Gmail account, they are required to
have a Google Account in order to use the software.
Scenario: You want to share important dates and
events between the consortium member universities

to collect notes and information by their computers,
PDA’s, telephones and share with others.
Scenario: You office is attending a Cluster workshop
but there are different tracks. So you need to inform
your other colleagues about what is happening on your
track. You want to share your notes (in a Word
document), an interesting figure that is hard to put in
Word and an audio-clip of the speech.

EtherPad

EtherPad is a web-based collaborative real-time editor,
allowing up to eight people to edit a text document at
the same time, and see all of the participants' edits in
real-time, each in their own color. Participants can
permanently save revisions at any time, and it provides
a separate chat box in the sidebar.

Aggreement in real time, with people in different
geographic locations.
