The kidnapper was John Jacobson.
Take these details into account:
First of January means the first letter of the word January: J.
Fourth of October means the fourth letter of the word October: O.
The fifth of March means the fifth letter of the word March: H.
Third of June means the third letter of the word June: N.

of poisoning. Why didn’t Joseph die?
Joseph drank as much punch as the victims
who drank it later and died. The poison had
been in the punch bowl all the time.
The poison in the punch came from the ice
cubes. When Joseph drank the punch, the
ice was fully frozen. Gradually the ice melted
and poisoned the punch, killing those who
drank later.

Traffic Laws
A bus driver was heading down a street in Colorado. He went right
past a stop sign without stopping; he turned left where there was
a "no left turn" sign, and he went the wrong way on a one-way
street. Then he went on the left side of the road past a cop car.
Still - he didn't break any traffic laws.
Why not?

“Sir, you have seen the way I
drive. You think anybody

you can’t get a good lawyer,
get one who knows the judge.”
