Environmental Monitoring
Natural Resource Solutions Inc. (NRSI) provides Environmental Monitoring (EM) and support services for a wide range of projects which includes hydroelectric developments, construction of wind power facilities, linear pipelines, infrastructure improvements, highway and regional road works, industrial park developments, as well as large-scale residential developments.
This extensive experience affords us with a broad perspective of construction and the diversity of environmental issues that can be encountered. Staff of NRSI are considered experts in this field and were asked to contribute to the Erosion and Sediment Control Guideline for Urban Construction (GGHCA 2006).
NRSI has a skilled team of biological experts with specific training and certifications backed by extensive experience in providing EM services for construction as well as other specialized services related to project design and construction activities, such as fish and wildlife salvages, and tree protection and monitoring plans. NRSI is acutely aware of this critical role on construction projects, and staff possess an inherent understanding of the role that the Environmental Monitor offers to the Construction Administration team and ultimately through service delivery to the client.
Highway and Regional Road Works
NRSI regularly works as part of multidisciplinary teams for a wide range of clients including municipalities, engineering firms, and contractors. Company services include providing risk assessment reviews of contract documents and construction plans, routine environmental monitoring of sediment and erosion control measures, and implementation of best management practices along with the creation of appropriate mitigation strategies. In
response to ever changing site conditions, design modifications and the field implementation of designs,
NRSI can provide environmental monitoring services to satisfy client needs and those of regulatory agencies.
