The Ateneo School of Government received a grant from the Rockefeller Foundation to undertake the "Catalyzing New Mobility in Metro Manila" project, also known as "Inclusive Mobility", from 2011-2012. After 12 months, the project established a resource center and shifted the view of mobility issues from just "traffic" to a broader view emphasizing accessibility for vulnerable groups. With continued Rockefeller Foundation support from June 2013 to March 2014, the project aims to organize an Inclusive Mobility Network, develop strategic plans and training materials, conduct public education and research on transport governance to advance inclusive mobility policies.
