Step1. Create SIDADM & SAPSERVICESID Users and add them to local
Administrators group

Step 2. Install JDK 1.4.1_0x



The installation has been completed successfully. Click on Finish tab

On the environment variable, add Variable JAVA_HOME with path
C:SUNAPPSERVER



On System variable Path, add C:sunappserverbin

Now to check the java version, go to cmd prompt and give the command
java –version



The output should be as above

Step 3. Installation of ORACLE 9.2.0.5



Double click Sapserver batch file

On the destination path, edit name as SID<VERSION> i.e. EP1920 and under path enter
path as, drive:oraclesidversion i.e. C:ORACLEEP1920



Click Install.



Give the path for 2nd and 3rd Oracle CDs when prompted.



To check if oracle services is running or not, go to run ,cmd services.msc
Before Patch update ,stop all the oracle services and update the patch.



After oracle patch ,check the oracle services by starting the oracle services which was
stopped.
In the command prompt enter sqlplus /nolog

Connect /as sysdba



Step 4. Netweaver Installation

1. Install SAP Web AS 6.40 J2EE Engine SP3.

For installation of WAS 640, browse to
D:chetan7751030191IM1SAPINSTNTI386

Double click SAPINST

upgrade was 640sp3 to 640sp4 by downloading the patches
CTRLORA04_0-20000118.SAR
J2EERT04_0-10001982.SAR
J2EERTOS04_0-20000118.SAR
SAPINST04_0-20000118.SAR

Copy this files in one folder & uncar it.

From http://service.sap.com/patches

Uncar this files by command
Sapcar –xvf < filename>

Eg Sapcar –xvf CTRLORA04_0-20000118.SAR



after extract u come with two folders sapinst-cd & j2ee-runt-cd.

Before applying the patch make the back of usrsap in case if you need to restore
was640sp3.
Double click sapinst-cd. & navigate to sapinst.exe



After successful installation http://chetan:50000/index.html



step 1 installation of was 6.40 sp3 & step 2 of upgrading was 640 sp3 to sp4 is
finished
Proceeding of installation of EP ( enterprise portal) 6.0 SP3.
Navigate to



login to http://chetan:50000/irj/portal

you should be able to get this page



Installing was640sp3, Upgrade was640sp3 to was640sp4, installing ep6.0sp3 has
been installed till now

Step 4:- upgrading ep6.0sp3 to ep6.0sp4
Download EP6CTRL04_0-10002786.SAR,
EP6PORTAL04_0-20000394.SAR,
SAPINST04_0-10002786.SAR and uncar it.



Double click on sapinst-cd



navigate to sapinst and double click on it.



login to http://chetan:50000/irj/portal

to check the portal is working.



restart SAPMMC



if required. Stop first & restart.

Installation of KM & CM (content management & collaboration)
Note: the service pack of km & cm should be same as that of j2ee & ep patch i.e it
should be same as was & ep patch which currently is sp4, & not less than that.

Navigate to F:chetan77ep_kmsetup

F:chetan77ep_kmsetupKMC1SAPINSTNTI386
Douyble click sapinst.exe



when u navigate to km tab
navigate to cm

upgrade was sp4 to sp6

download was patches related to sp6 as we did for sp4.



run sapinst



now u can view the iviews of km repository page


apply support pack 6 for ep now….
