  • 1. South Asia
    • This is the south Asia temperature map. South Asians must adapt to to every temperature conditions.
    Climate—Wet and Dry, Hot and Cold Half of the climate zones that exist on Earth can be found in South Asia. This means that South Asians must adapt to widely varying conditions.
  • 2. South Asia
    • South Asia has six main climate zones.
    • So as you can see most of the climate zones can be found in south Asia.
  • 3. Early History
    • Indian history stars out in Indus Valley, today known as Pakistan around 2500 B.C. Years later invaders crossed the Hindu Kush and spread across India. The invaders were called Aryans. Later they made smaller kingdoms across the Ganges Plain. They pushed darker skinned people down south.
  • 4. Early History
    • Two empires joined forces in the lower Ganges. In 321 B.C. the Mauryan empire united most of India.Centuries later the Gupta empire came to power.They ruled over India.
  • 5. People
    • The Main religion of India is Hinduism.Hinduism is the main religion of India they have festivals millions of Hindu’s come every year.
  • 6. Today Conflicts
    • The main conflict in India is population. In 1947 the population stood at 300 million, but in 2000 the population had tripled.India's population is so large that in 2045 India is expected to be the home of 1.5 billion people.
  • 7. India's population has been a problem because the government cant find the needs of their people.with out an education people cant improve their lives. Poor sanitation and lack of health education have lead to outbreaks of diseas,but in order to keep up with the population growth they would have to create 127,000 new village schools,hire 400,000 new teachers,construct 2.5 million new homes,create 4 million new jobs,and produce an additional 6 million tons of food.

    • India has a variety of religion,but the main religion is Hinduism.Hinduism is a complex religion with roots in Aryan culture.
  • 9. Religion
    • Hindus make up around 80% of the population, believe in many gods. They also believe in reincarnation the rebirth of souls after death.
  • 10. People
    • The Main religion of India is Hinduism.Hinduism is the main religion of India they have festivals millions of Hindu’s come every year.
  • 11. People
    • There lives in India are conserving water for drinking and other they build dams they found oil in sand they transport oil to refineries or ports.
  • 12. Government
    • India has one of the strongest central government like the United States.
    • India with the population of more than 1 billion, India has the worlds largest democracy.
