  • This bar timer, will start when anywhere on the slide is clicked. The bar will move from left to right and the word ‘End’ will appear at the end, accompanied by a ‘Deep Gong’ sound. It is possible to change the duration of this timer to any time, by entering the animation settings, and changing the timing for ‘rectangle 3’. Note the time has to be entered as a number of seconds – so if you want 2mins & 30secs – this is entered as 150 (60X2 + 30 = 150).

Setting Up Notebooks and Folders • You have 2 things that you will need to bring to class each day: – Unit Folder: Contains all work and notes for the current unit. • You keep this organized using the FOLDER TABLE OF CONTENTS SHEET and the website. • Will be graded at the end of each unit. – Historian’s Notebook: Contains an atlas, directions for historical thinking exercises and a record of your learning for the year. • You will keep this organized using the website. • Can be spot graded at any time. Unit 1 Folder • Put the pages you have in order based on how they are listed on the Table of Contents sheet. • Place them in your folder in the brads. • Place the Table of Contents in one of the pockets.
