Cast of Characters

Jasmine – Jasmine is one of the protagonists in this film, she is a lively18 year old girl
who has currently in a relationship with the character Harvey and best friends with the
character Jade. Jasmine has always been a bit paranoid with her relationships, never
fully trusting her boyfriend. She is a pretty girl who is medium height.

Jade – Jade is the other protagonist in this film, she is an 18 year old girl and best
friends with Jasmine and has a similar personality to her however she is not paranoid
with relationships. She recently met the character Anthony and has since been dating
him. She is a short beautiful girl with long hair.

Harvey – Harvey is an 18 year old boy, and is Jasmine’s boyfriend. He is the catalyst
of the plot in this film as his presence causes tension and breaks the equilibrium. He is
a kind young man who volunteers at children shelters. He is a tall boy with short
black hair.

Anthony – Anthony is an 18 year old boy. Not much is known about him as Jade has
only recently met him, but they are currently dating.

Locations

Eating Place (Restaurant): Places were people go to eat, e.g. café, restaurant. Table for
four and chairs. Maybe people in the background to show a busy area of eating.

Park: A park with a lot a grass. Our scenes are not going to need a lot of people, so we
don’t need a big group of people in the park, other than the grassy areas of the park,
the rest are not needed.

Roads with Bus Stops: The majority of our film will take place on a road like this. We
will need a natural looking road like this because this will add verisimilitude to our
film.

Treatment

General Plot
Our group presents a romantic thriller type of film about a boy named Chris and a girl
called Amy, and Chris’ sister, Cleo and his friend Aaron. Chris and Amy are two
people who like each other a lot, although they are not in relationship with each other.
One day Amy sees Chris with another girl and gets extremely upset causing her to

                                                                                         1
confront this girl; she accidently murders this girl, resulting in the tragic ending of this
film.

Film Description
The story starts out with Chris and Amy having a nice day together, where all is calm
and they are happy. The next day soon comes, and Chris has gone out with his friend
Aaron, they run into Chris’ sister on the way and he gives her a hug and is speaking
with her for a while as he has not seen her in a while as she does not live at home.
What these three characters do not know is that Amy was in the area and she was
going to come over to Chris however after seeing this she assumes that Chris has
something going on with this girl. She hides away crying and after a while she comes
back, at this point, Chris and Aaron are going off on their business and Cleo (Chris’
sister) is left alone. Amy’s angered by what she feels is betrayal confronts Cleo and
gets into tangle with her. She ends up hurting Cleo and makes her fall and hit her head
hard, this injury turns out to be fatal. Aaron and Chris hear all the commotion and run
back, where Chris then sees his sister bleeding on the floor and Amy standing above
her. He is devastated and he shouts at Amy for being so stupid as she tries to explain
her actions. This tragic plot twist and ending sends a message, a message which is the
title of our film, Jealousy’s a Bitch.

                                                                                          2
