The founders will start small and expand to new locations if successful, such as near stadiums and tennis courts. The startup costs are estimated at 70,000 euros and the company aims to sell at least 3,000 balls per month to be profitable. Job applicants should be interested in sports and computers.
2. DESCRIPTION
The ballid company creates balls like
baseballs, tennis balls and footballs
The one who buys it can say which colour and
ball he wanted and personalize it with his own
imagination
We can also print something of others liking
for example a quote or picture.
3. DESCRIPTION OF THE WORKPLACE
the ballid company is situated in
Munich, Germany.
There isn’t any workplace as such but we
create them from a small building.
We have a huge room with loads of machines
to help us create the balls and also computers
to take the orders of people online.
4. TARGET AUDIENCE
It is targeted to anyone of any age.
This is also for people who love sports and
maybe are professional at it and would like to
customize their own ball of any kind of sports.
It is also an amazing thing to have your own
personalized thing and be proud of it so this is
a kind of example.
5. LOCATION
Location isn’t going to affect us as much
because it can be anywhere as long as the
environment is suitable for the workers.
we should start in a small place in Munich
and than if the business starts to grow we will
move to other buildings.
Preferably it will be next to a stadium or
tennis court because the target audience may
be there.
7. SALES
At first we the founders of the company will
build or rent a small place so that the
company will proceed forward
If the company is doing a great job than we
will open and franchise in new locations were
there is a huge population.
some examples are stadiums, near tennis
courts, famous cities such as America and
London.
8. COST ANALYSIS
start up costs : 50 000 Euros for facilities and for equipment,
other facilities and machines one will need another 20 000
euro.
fixed costs(monthly): rent is 3000 Euros + the 2000 personal
costs ( 5000 high local wage)
9. GOAL FOR SALES
We will need to at least sell 3000 balls each
month to get the profit we need.
So if we calculate the amount of balls each
month and divide it by the 25 days of
shutdown. Then we will have to sell 120 balls
each day.
10. CO-WORKERS
people who are
interested in sports and
are good with a computer
and have studied and got
the examinations
required are fit for the
job.
you can find people from
chat rooms, from
friends, sports students
and others whom are
studying computing.
11. SWOT-ANALYSIS
STRENGHTS: good salary, there isn’t a lot of
competition and it is great for people who like
sports.
WEAKNESSES: expenses(rent) , online
problems and no experience.
OPPORTUNITIES: growing company and
meeting with other business people.
12. SWOT- ANALYSIS
Ballid would be best since it is a partnership
and liability is unlimited as we are the owners.
But it is easier to take a loan from the bank.
We also have the possibility to collect money
from investors whom are willing to lend us
money and that their liability is limited to the
amount of capital that they are willing to give.
