Giving more people access to knowledge through Wikipedia, which has over 1.5 billion monthly readers across nearly 300 language editions, including 114 editions with articles about Ebola. Wikipedia provides open and collaborative access to information as the largest secondary database and multilingual information hub. For knowledge and health information to reach their full potential, open data needs to not just be read-only but also editable and expandable by the world to build applications and share information in new ways beyond current reach.
