Visual Analytics: Provides a rich, intuitive customer-centric view leading to improved investigations and insights. Designed for fraud analysts, provides powerful data visualization, contextual and actionable information to streamline the investigation process. Cybercrime protection… High Maintenance: Requires extensive rules authoring, and continuous tuning. Requires heavy involvement from Actimize services staff to maintain. Actimize claims to support “unlimited rules authoring” as a virtue when in fact, creating and maintaining multiple rules are a trap leading to extensive false positives and poor fraud detection rates. Behavioral Analytics: Proven to be highly effective at detecting fraud. Requires no rules. Each account is scored based on its unique profile resulting in high precision and minimal alerts. Non threat- specific, requires no a-priori knowledge of fraudster tactics. Immune to constantly changing attacks. Machine Learning: Automatically learns and adapts from each event or activity, does not require model training or tuning. Requires no on- going feedback. Adaptive and predictive algorithms continuously update models without requiring human intervention.

Requires external alerts to be mapped into ECRM’s schema, plus transformation, normalization, and other processing. Requires custom processes to be written in order to override default business rules. Actimize’s white papers and other materials provide very little detail about how to make data actionable outside of the ECRM tool.
