reason Iʼm writing about
this animal is because
rhinos are awesome
and huge. Personally, I
like pizza,ice cream,
and thrill parks. I like to
play, sports, and climb
trees.
3. Who Am I?
I am a Rhinoceros. I live
to about, 35 to 40 years
of age. The rhino is a
huge primitive looking
mammal. They can
weigh 1 to 2 tons.
Rhinos are 60 inches to
the shoulder when they
stand. Their predators
are humans. Rhinos
donʼt have any true
predators, just humans.
4. The Early Years
Young are born after a
gestation period of about, 1
year and 4 months.
Female rhinos donʼt
reproduce until they are 6
or 7 years old.
Male rhinos donʼt mate until
they are 10, 11, or 12 years
old.
Yong stay with there
mothers for 2 or 3 years.
5. Habitat Sweet Habitat
Rhinos Habitat are
grasslands and open
savannahs.
Rhinos also like
savannahs with mud
wallows, water holes,
and shade trees.

Rhinos are
vegetarians. They
eat grass, plants,
and twigs.

The rhino tracks
look like they have
three toes. You can
find rhino tracks by
water holes.

ago, rhinos were
widespread and
abundant. A long
time ago, rhinos
lived in north
America, Asia,
Africa, and Europe.

Most rhinoceroses
live in south Africa.

Rhinos are the 2nd biggest
mammal in the world. The
rhinos horn is the most
distinctive feature on its
body. Calves stay with their
mother mothers until they
are 3 years old. Rhinos like
to take mud baths.
