  • 1. Science Investigation By Kaden and Dylan
  • 2. How fast can a stockcar and a family car go without blowing its engine? Our Question
  • 3. What We Already Know Cars engine can blow easily Cars can’t go fast on dirt Stock cars have bigger engines than family cars
  • 4. What would I like to find out? How would we make a normal car go as fast as a Stockcar? What cars can go as fast as a stockcar?
  • 5. Our hypothesis The stock car would go faster because it has a bigger engine and has more RPM’s than a family car
  • 6. It will be longer before the stockcar engine blow its engine What do you think will happen? Bar graphs What will I use to display my results? On paper and have a little engine How will I record my results? Nothing What will I change? What will I keep the same? Measuring tape, Jack What will I need? The engines What will I measure? What are the steps to my investigation ? How fast can a stockcar & a family car go without blowing its engine ? What is the problem/Question? Experiment notes Steps to my experiment
  • 7. EXPERIMENT EXPLANATION
    • When we did the experiment we found out that the engine on the stockcar was harder to blow than the family car because it had a bigger engine and more rpms than the family car.
    • It took 4 minutes & 2 seconds to blow up the stockcar engine and 2 minutes & 30 seconds to blow up the family car engine.
  • 8.
  • 9. Our evaluation
    • Our hypothesis was right because It took longer for the stock car to blow its engine
  • 10. Social Action
    • People who might be interested in this information are: car manufacturers, car racers, people who want to be a car racer
    • These people would want to use this info for making cars that wont blow their engines as easily or for people who race cars or want to race cars so they can find a car that doesn't blow its engine as easily.
  • 11. PICTURES
  • 12. Thanks 2
    • Kaden’s Uncle for letting us use his stock car for our experiment
    • Kaden’s dad for letting us use his old car for our experiment
